Principal Project Officer Portfolio Strategy and Governance Contract length: ASAP - 6 months with possible extension Pay rate: AO7    The Principal Project Officer, Brisbane 2032 Programs, Portfolio Strategy and Governance will work closely with the Manager, Brisbane 2032 Programs, Portfolio Strategy and Governance, the Executive Director, Portfolio Strategy and Performance and senior leaders across the department to provide high level strategic, timely, independent advice on major projects, policies, strategies and issues which impact on portfolio, program and organizational responsibilities.

About the business unitSituated within Situated within Study and Migration Queensland division, the Migration Queensland (MQ) team works in partnership with the Department of Home Affairs to nominate successful international skilled and business applicants seeking to migrate to Queensland.Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)To be successful in this role you will: Lead the development of marketing/promotional materials, events management and social media platforms to promote Queensland as a business and skilled migration destination, to increase the number of migrants nominated by the State of Queensland Manage the MQ website, including developing content and online resources, reviewing existing content and liaising with the Web Services team to arrange updates Contribute to the development of the MQ business and marketing plans and budget Monitor the MQ budget, monthly revenue and reconciliations, and business and marketing plans Carry out KPI reporting and analysis utilising the MQ Salesforce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) Work closely with TIQ's overseas offices to deliver targeted business and skilled migration promotional initiatives in their markets Prepare briefing materials, policy advice, correspondence, case studies and communications materials related to Queensland's state-nominated business and migration program Establish and maintain effective communication strategies, protocols, stakeholder negotiation and liaison activities across cultures and other private and public sector organisations Develop and foster effective relationships with key stakeholders across international, local, state and federal agencies, and industry to continue to build commitment to long term growth Provide written and verbal advice and communications to key stakeholders, including clients and client-representative groups, and TIQ senior management During high nomination periods, assist the visa processing team with assessing applications for skilled migrants Represent TIQ on government forums, working groups and committees.
